As we have said several times before, we despise dealing in rumours unless they are of the most reputable quality, or just too damn juicy to miss, this particular rumor falls into the latter category.
The Rumour mill has been churning since Steve Jobs Biography was released soon after his death, where he discussed how he would like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use, he then reportedly said to Walter Isaacson "I finally cracked it!", a quote made in reference to solving the dilemma of intergrating siri voice control into televisions.
According to the Nick Bilton of the New York Times, siri controlled televisions are on target for a 2013 release date, and could be the future of control systems for the television, voice activated rathr than fumbling with a remote.
According to Digitimes, Apple's Supply Chain will start receiving all the parts for the new Apple Television's in the early part of 2012, in time for the mid to late 2012 release date.
So there you have it, an integrated Apple television by late 2012, and a siri controlled apple TV by mid 2013.
