Kirsten Goss, Young South African Jeweller.

At disappear Here, we love to give information about new designer, and new jewellery designers, the younger, edgier and newer the better, and although Kirsten goss has been established for a good few years now, she is still quite new, and in a marketed saturated with same-old same-old jewellers, she is quite different.

Her first store was established in London in 2002, and she pretty soon managed to make a name for herself as a name to look for, finding column inches in publications such as the Sunday Times Magazine as early as 2004, and has continued to get mentions in jewellery features ever since, in 2009 she won UK best independant Jewellery retailer, since then she has returned to her native South africa to start a Goldsmithing  workshop, and has the honour of receiving numerous private commissions, including for Christies London, while having her own name brand running in the background at the same time.

The predominant theme of Her brand is exceptionally high quality hand-made jewellery, with a natural earthy feeling, reminiscent of Her African Homeland, with large semiprecious stones, sitting alongside rolled gold shapes, such as her signature onion drop earrings.

Please view the small selection of images below, to see the type of work Kirsten Goss does, or visit www.kirstengoss.com to buy online and view the full catalogue, or, visit her Kensington Store to see them in the flesh.
