Lanvin 2012 Spring Summer Trainer Selection.

When people think of Lanvin now they think of two things, Elegant and sophisticated clothing which can go from day to night and back again with seamless ease, and, trainers, low tops and particularly hi tops, in the space of a few years Lanvin have become "the" brand for stylish designer trainers, with the high end wallop of brands like Hermes, Loro Piana and Louis Vuitton, but enough street cool to fit it with brands like Bape, Alife and Globe.

For Spring/Summer 2012, Lanvin have released a solid collection yet again, for those looking for he classics, they have released the hi top and low top with the customary tweaking, here, releasing the Medium-high with a zip up the side version with a puzzle weave pattern of knitted leather, the full hi top in polyster and leather lace up, both in sombre shades of navy's and pale creams.  The low tops have been released again in the expected suede with patent toe cap, versions, but also in a full leather edition, a nice touch for those looking for something sleeker this season.

And so we turn then to what is different and unusual this season, as the gallery below shows, we have quite a selection of the weird and wonderful to tantalise.  First up, the new zip-up medium high sneaker has been done in a turquoise shade of water snake skin, exotic to say the least, then the classic low top has been released in a killim basket weave design, and in classic natural python skin.

But the big news this season at Lanvin is the release of two totally new styles of sneaker, also seen below, we have a killim basket weave sneaker, and a classic running sneaker style, the classic style is done in peccary leather, and in lazer cut leather in green or brown.

All these styles are available from Lanvin's Boutiques, and, from their brand new online store "e-lanvin", which can be found by following the links at www.lanvin.com.  Prices vary from £305 for the lowest priced Low top sneaker, to £810 for the water snake hi top, and most medium tops and special editions are around the £500 mark.
