Valextra Handbags for Fall/Winter 2012/2013 with a new direction for their 75th anniversary.

Valextra have pulled in line with the big boys of fashion, and are releasing their Fall/Winter collections for the coming winter now, at the end of this Winter.  This sort of Fashion-Forward-thinking is exactly what's needed in a brand which seems to yo-yo in and out of the limelight, and up and down the scale of "in" indeed; only six months ago we reported their newly opened Valextra Boutique in Harrods has been relegated to a small stand in the luggage section upstairs, and the spot it vacated occupied by an expanded Hermes boutique.

The new collection will comprise a fashion themed bag called the "lotus" pochette, featuring a Solid Silver Flower Decoration on the closure, a solid almost unisex tote in two sizes, known as the "b-cube" and "b-shopping", which has the chance to bridge the gap and capitalise on the new trend for Men to opt for totes as day to day weekend bags, and a Large birkin like multifunction bag called the "75 bag" presumably a reference to the 75 year anniversary rather than its dimensions.

No pricing information available at present, however they are likely to start at around the £1500 mark for the pochette, probably £2300 for the Totes, and £2800 or more for the 75 bag.
