To commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the Royal Oak, the Wrist Watch which redefined what it was to buy a luxury Watch, with Steel used as a luxury material, and a ultra high end hand made gold caliber movement, launching with the phrase "body of steel heart of gold".
The book features 300 pages, with over 233 illustrations and photographs, detailing the original background behind the watch, the thought processes in the Le Brassus workshops during those troubled times, the developmental stages, including interviews with Gerald Genta, and colcluding with interviews with high profile wearers of the Royal Oak.
The Book will be retailing for £100.00, and will be available for retail by the end of June.
