The Wellesley Knightsbridge, New Hotel set for November 2012.

Knightsbridge will be getting yet another luxury hotel later this year, unfortunately for the developers, it will come a little late to take advantage of the 2012 London Olympics Buzz, but it will sit comfortably along the other Knightsbridge hotel launch this year, the Bulgari Hotel.

This new hotel is billing itself as the first "six star" London venue, it claims this title based upon the fact that all its 36 of its rooms are suites, and its premier suite, will be the largest Hotel suite in London town upon its launch, and will be attempting to rob customers from its nearest neighbour, the Lanesborough.

The Hotel is based within a location familiar to many tourists, it is the building that formerly contained the 'Pizza in the Park" business on the ground floor, purchased by an unkown VC, the £36 Million development is designed by Fox Linton amongst others, and will restore this grand six floor townhouse closer to its former glory than it has been for the last 70 years.

Along with the exclusive suite only hotel, there will also be a 28 seat italian restaurant, and an exclusive bar called the crystal bar, along with special outdoor cigar terraces, planned to be the largest humidor in the UK.

The Wellesley will be quite a destination when it opens, and will no doubt be the home to many a high flying traveller.
