New for 2012 from Chanel fragrances comes a new womens fragrance, Coco Noir, based on the Coco and Coco Madmoiselle perfumes, it is designed to evoke Chanel's eponymous founders memories of Venice. Elegant and refined, with a hint of mystery, it is designed to be the evening fragrance from the range.
Top notes of Grapefruit and bergamot are complimented by a heart of narcissus rose and jasmine, with a base of vanilla and patchouli. The fragrance will be available from August 17th officially, although it is already available in Selfridges and Harrods in limited quantaties.
One thing worth noting is, this is the second "Noir" themed fragrance in the last month, the last being Tom Ford's Noir for men, and there is rumoured to be a third fragrance being released with the "noir" moniker, it would seem that Noir is the word for the winter, along with dark themed fashion collections, expect a dark,deep winter ahead.
