Nespresso have announced their 2012 limited edition, titled "crealto" this edition was created in collaboration with Michellin starred chef Mauro Colagreco, this Grand Cru coffee is made from 100% washed Arabica beans from Indonesia, South America and Central America. In order to make this edition a little special, each bean was simmered three times longer than normal, to bring out the best aromas an flavours, resulting in a rich nutty coffee.
The other thing eagerly awaited with regards to Nespresso's limited edition releases are the actual capsules themselves, how will they look? For the crealto, nespresso have chosen to evoke the spirit of michelin starred cuisine, in honour of their creator, and gone for a stark white with brown stripes design, reminiscent of the way haute cuisine is presented and decorated.
