New Burberry Continuity Bag "the Orchard".

Pictured below is Burberry's latest offering in their handbag selection, called the "Orchard" it has a distinctly autumnul feel, hence the early autumn release date, much later than most accessories and clothing for the A/W 2012/2013 collections, although in truth we did see this baby prancing down the catwalks, it just didn't have a name or general release date at that stage.

The bag is available in two sizes, large and small, large measures 50.5 x 41.5 x 17 cm and small measures 39 x 34 x 15cm, both sizes are available in the range of colours seen here, again these are mostly dark and wintery shades, to reflect its target and style, quilted nappa with calf details in olive or moss green, moss green suede with brown calf details, black or brown quilted or suede, and suede striped, with contrasting panels, in burgundy and green, olive and brown and brown and burgundy, also available is black suede and teal suede.

The stand out feature of the orchard bag, aside from its attractive and versatile shape, is the plain and quilted versions have highly unusual fastening clasps, either fox shaped, owl shaped, hound shaped or duck shaped, all hinting again at the countrified inspiration for the bag, hence again the name "orchard".

Pricing is set pretty high for these babies, the striped small costs £1095, striped medium £1295, medium plain clocks in at £1295, and large plain costs £1595, the quilted manages to be the most expensive of the set, the small costing £1595, and the large quilted clocking in at a massive £1795.

The bags are available now online and in stores.
