New from Baccarat comes their first collaboration with renowned Spanish Architect and Designer Patricia Urquiola, the powerhouse of furniture and interior design who hasworked with the likes of Alessi, Boffi, Cappellini, Cassina, kartell, B&B Italia, Bosa, De Vecchi, Fasem and a host of other big names.
The new collection is called "Variations" and comprises Eight items of Stemware and 5 Vases, it combines everyday ritual into the art of living, and rings the changes on art de vivre as imagined by Patricia Uriquola, where objects from past and present coexist and combine for mutual magnification.
The stemware includes a Red wine glass, a white wine glass, a champagne flute and a water glass, they come coloured to match the proposed liquids, of in a plain version, the five vases pictured here need really to be seen to be appreciated, as they cannot really be explained, but they feature acid colour hues, with a relaxed neo pop vibe.
Prices for the stemware are £95 per piece, and vase prices are not published yet, they are all set to be available by the end of December 2012.
