How we all managed to miss this one s beyond us, it was there, strutting down the solar panel griddled catwalk of the Palais, standing loud and proud, in fact, the post uploaded here by us back in the first week of October even has the above image zoomed out of the model carrying this clutch, so why this charming little accessory was ignored is a mystery.
We will put it down to the fact that the hula hoop oversized shoulder bag was so outre it blinded us to all other accessories in the collection, no doubt a review in detail of all the seasons big bags will follow, but whatever the case this little fellow is a stand out piece that need to mentioned now so you can start saving straight away.
This is to some extent a similar animal to the 2010 novelty "cassette" bag from Chanel, the principal difference being that that was purely a novelty clutch, this is a novelty clutch which actually has some usefulness within it.
For your money you will secure a choice of four bright colours, green, blue, pink or orange, or, transparent, polycarbonate cast in a solid geometric shape which is both utilitarian and youthful. the clutch opens from a solid clasp on the top and is secured with a metal frame, it has a surprisingly generous internal capacity, if that is something you are interested in, and each clutch has a colour matched metal and leather shoulder strap, except the clear which has a black shoulder strap.
Priced at £1800 per clutch and available officially worldwide from tomorrow, this charming little "novelty" clutch will be something we expect to see long after the novelty has worn off.
