Stolichnaya Renames And Relaunches the Stolichnaya Pristine Elit Edition The "Himalayan Edition".

Bit of an odd one this, we wrote about this product back in January of this year, when Stolichnaya was about to release it, at that time it was called the "Stolichnaya Elit Pristine Edition". Every element was present, and at that stage Stolichnaya's press release stated it was available at travel retail outlets worldwide already, the post can be found HERE.  Well it seems that Stolichnaya decided not to release it, and the press statements were false, instead, they will be releasing it in time for Christmas 2012, and they have renamed it "Himalaya Elit Edition".

Apart from the name, everything is the same, same Himalayan Mountain water to distill it from the Langtang National park in Nepal, same ultra pure Tambov winter wheat, same Bohemia Crystal Bottles, same limited exclusive dark wood presentation box, same gold plated ice pick, same 300 worldwide editions.

The only thing that has changed apart from the name and release date is the price, which, remarkably, has decreased rather than gone up, the "Himalaya" Elit Stolichnaya will be £2000 per edition, rather than the £2500 originally detailed in the press releases back in January.

Available from high end Alcohol retailers worlwide now, we believe, after all, we were wrong 11 months ago.
