Mont Blanc Homage 2013 For Albert Einstein.

For the early part of 2013 Mont Blanc are producing an Homage to Albert Einstein pen, following their tried and tested model of producing special edition pens to honour famous figures from history, past models have included John Lenon, Alfred Hitchcock, Pablo Picasso, and even an Homage to the simple natural beauty of the butterfly.

The pen pays particular attention to Einstein's formula of relativity, that of E=mc2, having the equation engraved on the Platinum plated stainless steel body, and the cap, is designed to echo Einsteins theory of relativity also, showing a grid curving around the platinum plated sphere on the clip, just as light from a distant star would be curved around a galaxy, the rhodium plated 18kt gold nib is engraved with the element named after him einsteinium.

The collection is limited to 3000 Fountain Pens, and 3000 convenient modes - 1500 rollerballs and 1500 ballpoints, and are available at Mont Blanc Boutiques now, each piece costing around £2000.
