The Beatles Love Me Do was in its day the biggest selling, and highest charting, record ever released, a n honour it retained for many years after its initial release, retaining a number one position in the US charts for 14 weeks in 1964.
2013 marks the 50th anniversary of its release, and to commemorate the event, Mischief Music has taken advantage of the fact the record is in the public domain by issuing a limited edition heart shaped twelve-inch vinyl edition of the record in bright red, the A-side is Love Me Do, and on the B-side is P.S. I Love You, which was also on the original release 50 years ago.
The edition is limited to 500 copies worldwide, and will cost £15.
