Lanvin Autumn/Winter 2013/2014 Sneaker Collection.

It almost doesn't need saying, but we will say it anyway, Lanvin has become exceptionally famous and well known for its trainer and sneaker collections, it has materialised itself into the signature of the brand, and creating new and innovative ways in which to make the sneaker a transitional element of a mans outfit has begun to be the raison d'etre for Lanvin.

For Autumn/Winter 2013 Lanvin have created a range of trainers which seem to have stepped out of a sci-fi movie, the classics are there, Lanvin has done too well with its suede patent cap toe affair to ever discontinue it, and the mid-tops, in sombre colours are also still very much in effect, however, it is the new which garners attention in fashion, and for A/W 2013/2014, Lanvin have chosen to shine, both figuratively and literally.

First up we have multicoloured snakeskin lowtops, then shiny metallic mid top running trainers, alongside combination shoes which blend elephant leather with alligator and suede, simple suede low tops with bright orange bands round the rear, check print hi-tops, plain black with paint splash sole, and an unstructured "crepe" sole sneaker, Lanvin appear to very much be looking to the future, the far, far future.

The entire collection, along with all the A/W 2013/2014 clothing ranges and other shoes and accessories are available now, the trainer collections vary in pricing from £300 for the classic lowtop suede and patent captoe model up to £820 for this seasons python leather desert boot.
