Paris fashion week, ever looking ahead, and never backwards, even the present is the past, we speak of course of the fashion industries dedication to being two, or even three, seasons in the future, and with this in mind, here is the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2014 menswear and accessories collections.
The usual star studded event was held, with celebrities including David Beckham, Michael Stie, Aarif Lee and Victor cruz, but it was the collection itself which needed to shine, and shine it did, with reinterpretations of Louis Vuitton classics everywhere.
The show saw a simple yet elegant collection of clothing, with subtle greys, and classic geometric prints abounding, it is an infinitely wearable collection, with none of the day-glo neon shades seen this 2013 S/S, the loudest piece seen is a tan suede jacket with a bold LV cup logo. The accessories however threw up some real surprises, with the damier made made in a perforated leather pattern, new damier canvas totes, and most interestingly, a hard sided aluminium damier print technology case being seen.
All these pieces will be available to purchase from around December/January 2013, and individual accessory pieces will receive independent launch announcements up to, and following these dates.
