To commemorate the release of the new Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues Ben & Jerry's have released a limited edition Ice Cream, this special edition is named after the line uttered by Ron Burgundy's famous quote at the opening of the original film "Scotchy Scotch Scotch. Here it goes down, down into my belly.
The limited edition features butterscotch ice cream with ribbons of butterscotch swirl, so sadly, no actual Scotch in the ice cream. In a humorous press release the Ron Burgundy character stated:
“Scotchy, Scotch, Scotch is a delicious ice cream and I hope Ben and Jerry consider my other suggestions,” Ron Burgundy said in a press release. “Malt liquor marshmallow, well liquor bourbon peanut butter, and cheap white wine sherbet.”
The limited edition is available now in the United States, and hopefully will see a release over here alos, it is priced at a slight premium of 15% above the cost of the normal Ben & Jerry's Ice Creams.
