Hermes Balcon Du Guadalquivir Noir.

Anyone who liked Hermes Balcon Du Guadalquivir porcelain set, but found the red tones too striking for their taste will find this story of interest, Hermes have now released the entire series in a black version.

The Gualdalquivir range, created for those who don't know based on the sweeping and almost floral patterns found in traditional Catalonian ironwork, finds itself demonstrating this link far more authentically in this shade of black than in the original bold red.

As with the original Hermes name is applied tastefully on each piece by hand, and carries the feeling of an artisanal piece in each case.

The whole set is available now from Hermes boutiques, costing from £130 for a plate, to several hundreds of pounds for larger pieces such as teapots and vases.
