Creed's release of the 1849 Harrods exclusive fragrance came and went with surprisingly little fanfare way back in August 2013, few blogs mentioned it, it was not advertised anywhere outside of Creed's fanbase and the Harrods magazine, and it was and is not even mentioned on Creed's website.
Yet this fragrance completely sold out in less than a month, in fact, so popular was it, Harrods and Creed have decided to re-introduce it, not as a limited edition mind, but as a Harrods only exclusive, continuity range, so as of now, you can always purchase this, but only from Harrods.
This is a smart move on the part of Harrods and Creed, as Creed is not big on new releases, and when they do create something new, you know it will be special, and although the consesus is this doesnt really evoke the sense of Harrods in any sense other than the colour of the bottle (Harrods green), it is a very nice, and extremely sophisticated fragrance.
Combining Bergamot, Jasmine, Patchouli, Cedar, Ylang Ylang, Vanilla, Oud Sandalwood and Musk, it is available now for £225 in 75ml size only.
