As predicted here, the Bentley fragrance which launched in a limited edition Lalique flacon with a flying B lid and very grand packaging, has been now put in slightly more conventional packaging, and will be available to purchase in high street perfume retailers.

The fragrance, named Bentley Azure, will launch in March, and will contain notes of wood, aromatic spices, and musk.  The azure is designed to be sporty, smart and stylish.  It has been designed by Mathilde Bijaoui.  Bijaoui who works for the French perfume house Mane is one of the world's top perfume creators.  he has with Bentley Azure created a fragrance designed to be both contemporary and classic.

The top notes are citrus, pineapple, and violet.  The middle or heart feature spicy mediterranean aromas such a pimento, lavender and sage with a hint of tea.  And at the base, cashmere, wood and tonka bean, along wiht the exclusive fragrance molecule orcanox.

The fragrance is clearly aiming itself squarely at the luxury segment.  With this in mind they will be retailing exclusively at Harrods initially. With a general release date not yet announced.  Prices are £50 for 70ml, £70 for 100ml, and the shampoo will be £25.
