Hermes Crocodile Desk Set.

Hermes has long produced desk sets and office accessories.  A quick glance at the auction rooms of Sotherbys and Christies luxury auctions from the last decade will throw up a myriad of luxurious sterling silver, fine leather, crystal and galuchat offerings from Maison D'Hermes dating from the last century.  Continuing this illustrious heritage, Hermes have created a Crocodile leather set of matching desk accessories.

The set comprises a vertical folder, which measures 7" x 11.8".  A desk blotter, which measures 13.8" x 19.87".  A mail tray, which measures 10.4" x 13.8", and a pen holder, which is sized at 3.7" x 3.3".  the entire set is known as "Plien cuir", which means all leather.  Not necessarily all crocodile, but certainly all Hermes luxury leather.

The desk set is available now, and it is priced at £22,000 for the vertical folder, £15,000 for the desk blotter, £18,000 for the mail tray, and £3,400 for the pen pot.  Making it cost £58,400 for the entire set of desk accessories.
