It seems as soon as a limited edition product comes out nowadays it is gone within minutes. Just yesterday we reported the Nike Yeezy 2 trainer, which sold out in 11 minutes (and which subsequently has been bid up to £10,000,000 on ebay). And here, we report on the limited edition Ralph Gibson edition Leica M Monochrom, which went on sale and sold out in 5 minutes.
And thats pretty much all there is to say about this. Except that renowned photographer Ralph Gibson has held on steadfastly to 35mm for years. And that the Leica M Monochrom was so special that it convinced him to change to digital.
Not much point in mentioning specs, or features, because you can't buy one. We suggest if you are very intersted, start trawling eBay. Better be prepared to pay big bucks however. It's original asking price was £23,000. Who knows what the eBay price will be.
