Karl Largerfeld Launches Signature Fragrances In Harrods London.

Karl Largerfeld is launching his signature fragrance first exclusively in Harrods London.  We say first, as his London store is set to open within the next month, and he has stated publicly that it is his intention to have his products accessible, both in terms of availability and in terms of price point.  Therefore, it would be logical that he will be also selling this in his stores worldwide, and in any department store interested in taking it on.

Proving again his command of the youth obsessed zeitgeist in which we live, Largerfeld stated about the design process of the fragrance "I don't believe in projects that come together too slowly; having too much time is very bad.  It's like cooking; eat it when it's hot".  Which really does sound like something a 17 year old would say about a GCSE school project.

The fragrance is designed by Serge Majoullier in a men and womens version, and will cost £50 per bottle.  The all important packaging in  this case features the Karl Largerfeld brand logo, his name in bold with his sunglasses/ponytail sillouhette, on a squarish bottle, with a chunky lid.  Very minimalist.
