Lovers of the Le Corbusier LC range have reason to be excited about this years Salone del Mobile. Cassina, official producer of the Le Corbusier furniture, have, in collaboration with the Le Corbusier foundation, decided to re-launch the LC5 sofa in new dimensions.
Obviously, as a piece endorsed by the Le Corbusier foundation, the piece stays true to the original, which was designed by Le Corbusier in 1934, for the living room of his Paris apartment. With slightly elongated proportions, and new finishes, it elegantly compliments the rest of the LC range.
Available from the end of April at Cassina retailers worldwide, the price is yet to be determined. Expect it to start from around £8,000.
