Converse have been collaborating with designer John Varvatos for some years now. Famous for their python skin, and distressed leather offerings, the collaboration has proved to be a successful one. Now, for 2014, they are producing a special edition of the Chuck Taylor Zip Hi.
The new edition will feature a zipper near the ankle, and small luxury touched, such as specially treated metal zips. Available in olive, washed black and maroon, they can be purchased from limited specialised retailers now for £110 per pair.
