Vertu Signature Touch Handset.

Vertu are setting to raise the bar in the premium handset market with their new Vertu Signature Touch. Rather than the gemstone saturated shiny gold releases we have come to expect, this neither glitters, nor does it carry any affiliation with any car manufacturer, or limited edition event, or commemorative gimmick.

Rather, Vertu have chosen to collaborate with some of the absolute finest manufacturers in the world to produce an ultra-premium handset worthy of the name.  13 megapixel camera sir?  How about Hasselblad to produce one of those?  Dolby Digital Plus Speakers sit?  How about Bang & Olufsen for that? Smartphone functionality sir?  How about a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800SoC with 2.3Ghz quad-core CPU, 2GB of Ram, and 64GB of Memory?

In addition, each model of the bespoke editions, which come in a hand crafted leather, ranging from calf to crocodile, will be engraved with the signature of their master craftsman.  Icing on the cake, Vertu Conciege, Life and Certainty cervices, and if you insist, can be made in gold.

With this level of quality, the £9,000 price tag almost feels justified.  Finally, a Vertu we can stand by and say "this is a true ultra-premium mobile telephone.  Available from the end of June 2014, to order only.
