If anyone is wondering how a traditional long established brand can survive in the modern world, we would suggest taking a peek at Tricker's.  This English footwear brand, having been established in 1829, is a firmly tradtastic enterprise, a visit to its Jermyn Street store would leave most shaking their heads at the chunky, countrified brogues which typify this brands offerings.

Yet, with clever collaborations with brands such as Junya Watanabe, such as the one presented here, which is incidentally the second of theirs, they continue to survive, and indeed prosper.

The new collection will feature brogues and boots, constructed from both calf and suede, tubular cotton laces, leather sole and leather lining.  They are available to purchase now online from colette Paris, at £900 for the brogue, and £1100 for the boot.
