Paul Smith has joined the likes of Hermes and Chanel to produce a road racing bike. Unlike many luxury bikes however, there is some link to the designer himself, as before becoming a designer, Sir Paul Smith had dreams of becoming a professional cyclist. He has harnessed this expertise in order to produce this luxury fixed-gear bike, branded with his moniker.
In collaboration with Mercian, the British bespoke bike brand, the bike is be made from matte-black lightweight steel, and is fitted with a range of custom high-end kit including a handmade Fizik saddle and Continental tyres. It is available to buy now from MR Porter online, and Paul Smith's flagship store in Westbourne Grove, and costs £4,995.
