North face, known mostly for sensible winter jacket, loved for Sunday morning walks and winter sports, have designed and produced a unique parka. Made with a Japanese company named Spiber, it is manufactured using a special process which bioengineers bacteria to create a new fiber which looks and feels like spider silk.
Considered the toughest material in the world, it consistently outperforms man-made fibers. This distinctly unusual piece does not yet have a release date or price, as it is currently touring Japanese North Face stores. However we do expect to see it on general worldwide release at some stage.
