Aspinal have gotten a lot of ridicule from us over the years. And not for no good reason. They are in effect, a wannabe Smythson. Pretentious and desperate they produced product after product aping the former, more venerable brand. With no originality or creativity. Now in time for Christmas 2015 they have produced a relatively original piece, and for that, we commend them.
Just in time to cause families to tear each other apart with claims of cheating, Aspinal have made luxury leather Monopoly boards. The game of games is available from them in leather navy and cream or red and black, and cost £995 per edition.
