From Van Cleef & Arpels comes the Ronde des Papillons wrist-watch.  This timepiece features retrograde hours, variable speed minutes, and most significantly, an on-demand in face animation which charms and delights with intricate detail.

The watch face has panels of white gold enamelled clouds, birds and butterflies.  As the animation begins, the pieces seemingly float around on the face.  To cap it off, the 38mm white gold case is encrusted with diamonds and mounted on an alligator strap that has a white gold pin buckle.  

Priced at £85,000 per numbered edition this is a potentially very nice Valentines gift for someone special.
