We have a love/hate relationship with Loro Piana, the brand consistently produces ultra luxury pieces with a spezzatura style making it perfect for the casual elegant style the brand promotes, but on the other hand, it has a tendency to suggest unrealistic products, such as the "scratchproof" sunglasses made from rare earth metals, which are now well documented as scratching, and also creates excessively old pieces, like the fur heavy cardigans unsuitable for almost all but the most gauche consumer.
