Bomber jackets are a staple streetwear item, forming the backbone of many a slick urban outfit. Alpha Industries are well known as the original makers of the bomber, the MA-1 was developed by them for air force pilots, and its practical yet elegant look meant it was as successful on the high street as it was on the airstrip.
BAPE and Alpha Industries have collaborated in the past, so this new release from the two is not a groundbreaking one, but it is still a welcome selection of very cool custom BAPE MA-1 jackets. Coming in black or navy with tiger camo sleeves, or all over urban camouflage, these are solid pieces that are set to last past just one season.
Priced at £400 for the black and olive Alpha MA 1st-1 models, and £430 for the urban MA City-1 version they will be available to purchase from BAPE by the end of September.
