We are not sure if this is an example of life imitating art, or a joke that has gone on so long that it has actually stopped being funny any become real, but whatever the case, BAPE, who for years have been producing their ironic BAPEX knockoff Rolex watches, have collaborated with the Bamford Watch Department to produce a genuine customised Rolex.

The BAPE Black Line is a 44mm Rolex Deepsea, gilt, with a gold camo dial, A BATHING APE legend on the dial, and the BAPE ape head on the reverse.

At £12,000 per piece, and exclusive to Harajuku and New York, limited to just five pieces, we are not sure if these will still be available, as such awesomeness goes even at such astronomical prices.  But if you get hunting, you may be able to find one.
