Some may say Apple releasing a coffee table book is another step towards the tech giant becoming even more design oriented. But the reality is, Apple has ever since Steve Jobs resurrected them with Jony Ive, an almost purely design oriented firm. This picture book is far from a "next stage", it is merely an inevitability, and in fact, it's more of a surprise that it took so long for one of these to be released.
Chronicling 20 years of Apple's designs. from the 1998 iMac to the Apple Pencil in 2015, they feature 450 glossy photographs shot by photographer Andrew Zuckerman in a minimalist style that echoes Apple stores the world over.
Available in two versions, large and small, it can be purchased now, with the small version costing £150, and the large £250.
