Virgil Abloh's Grave Robbing Continues With Cassina Modular Imagination Range.

It's hardly a secret that nothing is sacred in the grand scheme of consumerism, however, our continued reportage on the re-animation of Virgil Abloh in order to push products is somewhat of a surprise in in cynicism and scope to even our jaded palete's.

The latest to jump on this bandwagon is luxury furniture brand Cassina, with their Modular Imagination range.  These different-sized block structures with orange cylyndrical feet allowing them to slot into each other akin to lego pieces, are designed to present innovate furniture solutions for spaces, conceptualised as anything from a side table to a long bench, or high table.

The pieces are pleasant enough, however the Virgil connection is, as with most other posthumous creations attributed to Abloh, tenuous.  Cassina's press release made a lot of noise over these being hands-on designed by Virgil, but as with most, it's probably a commission ordered. and created by his studio, approved by him by signing off.

What ever the case these will be on sale starting from £1000 following Milan Design Week later in the year from Cassina stores.
