Just a few short weeks ago in the twilight days of 2010, we wrote a brief article about Music empresario and World-Wide phenomenon Usher, having had Tiret produce a special order Watch with his face on the dial in diamonds, and how horrible a watch this is.
Now it seems that word has gotten around, and Kanye West, Hip Hop genius and another World-Wide Superstar has decided to get one for himself.
The logic behind this decision escapes us, Kanye West is well known for being outrageous in his stage performances, such as the recent 'power' live performance where he wore 2 huge custom made pieces of jewellery and wowed audiences with his general audacity. However performances are just that, they end when a performer leaves the stage, certain performers are over the top in their personal lives also, Liberace to name but one, Kanye however is a very stylish dresser, and is generally reasonably sombre and elegant with his wardrobe, so why he would want such an excessively ugly item of jewellery is beyond us.
Whatever the case Mr West has forked out some $180,000 for this Wrist-Watch, which is unlikely to make any considerable dent in his bank balance.
