Chanel Produce a new line of bags named the "Boy" collection, in honour of Coco's former lover.

Since the 2009 filme 'Coco Avant Chanel' (Coco before Chanel) vividly showed Ms Chanel's humble origins and unique creative spirit which spawned a International luxury fashion brand, most people are familiar with the intricate particulars of her life.  One specific detail is her Lover's, one stands out amongst the others, that is the English Polo Player and businessman, Captain Arthur Edward Capel, known by his nickname "Boy Capel" throughout most of his life.

Boy Capel's life is somewhat of a mystery, both in the film and in reality, he was apparently an affluent individual by the time he met Coco, but how he obtained this wealth is not known.  Aside from a possible vague connection to the Capel Earl's of Essex, but this ha not been proven, nor indeed even his school has been ascertained, he was though to have attended the now defunct Jesuit Public School of Beaumont College, but this is also not a confirmed fact.  What is certain is he and Coco Chanel carried out a passionate Love affair from some time in 1909 until his death in a car accident in 1919, one year in fact after he was married, and that he was the one true love of Ms Chanel's life.

To honour "Boy" Chanel have produced this new range of Handbag's rigid and almost masculine in their design, they are designed to be reminiscent of the masculine cartridge bag that Coco herself used as a Handbag, and her own Androgynous style throut her life.

Available in various different sizes, including Clutch bag, small medium and large handbag's and a tote or shopper bag, prices are set to range from £1200 - £3000.
