Converse Chuck Taylor All Star add Design Your Own Options Including Glow In The Dark.

Converse Have offered the option to customise their basic canvas model for soem time now, along with producing the occasional special edition, and this has been capitalised by the like of sports retailers for some time now, who literally use the service and their links with Converse's distribution lines to produce designs and then prevent other people from producing them.

Now however, Converse have expanded the customising options dramatically, to include in the UK a huge selection of 15 styles, including canvas, leather, hi, low, mid top and boots, and multi tongue styles. However US residents have access to a massive 36 styles!  Including almost everything that Converse make.

Not only as the images shown here display (all by the way designed on the spot by as at disappear here then screen captured) it is possible to choose every part of the shoes design, including an individual colour for each tongue on multi tongue shoes, and, the ability for an 8 character long monogram on the heel or side.

The real stand out of the new service however, is as image two shows, the ability to have glow in the dark options, for both sides and sole. Although perhaps the real stand out feature is the cost, all of these custom design cost a mere fraction more, perhaps 10% only in some cases, and frankly, the chance to have a genuinely personal bespoke item for a fraction more than retail, is, to us, outstanding.
