It probably comes as no surprise to most people that Damien Hirst, one of the, if not the, most commercially successful artist in the world, has an online store selling oodles of lovely branded goods, you may already have stumbled inadvertantly across some of his wares in small boutique knick knack stores across the country.
Today we would like to show off a new gift set by Other Criteria, Hirst's online store, which, in a wildly inappropriate move, has been released just in time for the end of summer, but then again, that may explain the somewhat abstract name of the set "it's summer somewhere special", like as in somewhere, but not here anymore.
The set includes a beach towel, PVC beach bag, and 4 porcelain mugs, all bearing the butterfly motif's which were Hirst's 2011 offering to the world of modern art. The set costs £125.80m and is available now from www.othercriteria.com.
