Moncler Pharrell collaboration, ok we know Pharrell is cool, but come on?!

A couple of posts back we wrote about the emerging super popularity of Moncler, and a brief one line was given over to mentioning Pharrell and his new Moncler collaboration, and the general popularity of moncler with Rappers and Hip hop stars.

This dear reader is the Signature product of the Collaboration, the piece designed to get you salivating and reaching for your wallet while typing in 'nearest moncler store' to google maps, a ****ing Bulletproof vest.

There is not much more to say, if you read around, various different blogs and forums are extolling the virtues of this 'bold', 'brave' and 'masculine' new design, including an 1 page spread in this months esquire discussing how great an item it is, apparently Pharrell said "I always thought the Bulletproof vest looked cool so I wanted to design a kind of pacifist vest with a ecological twist, so there is a leafy design inside", Oh yes, not bad enough you will be wearing a psuedo flak jacket, but its got a funny leafy design printed on it too.

Seriously though, this is not elegant or stylish, it will just make you look like you work in security, and a real flak jacket would be much cooler at that job.  It can at least be said that the design is original, as how many other people offer goose down Bullet proof jackets, Original however is not neccesarily good, and that is the case here.
