If shearling is one of Winter 2010's big trends, the Burberry has got it sewn up here.

This Autumn/Winter 2010 season several surprisingly sensible trends have been selected by the powers that be as the in thing, Camel, short leather jackets, and Shearling, shearling being the most anachronistic of these, as it is quite difficult to sensibly wear shearling with looking like either Arthur Daley or some sort of lag down the local boozer who thinks he looks like a tough guy.

Many Brands have risen admirably to the task at hand and produced elegant and stylish Jackets in shearling wool, perfectly proportioned to keep winters bitter sting away from our delicate pink little bodies.  As always though one must be more equal than others, and in this case it is burberry, with their Aviator funnel jacket, it feels at once surprisingly sensible and yet overwhelmingly elegant, you feel looking at this you could easily be boarding a plane with amelia earheart, or going to sainsburys to buy a pint of milk.

This stand out piece is available now from Burberry for £1800.
