Loro Piana Announce Traveller fabric for suiting and clothing, titles 'The Wave'

Loro Piana have once again confirmed their position at the forefront of fabric innovation, with this new fabric designed specifically for travellers and garments designed to be either folded or packed.  Called 'The Wave' it is a combination of highly twisted 3 ply super 130 merino wool, with silk 600, the finest filament of silk in the world.

This combination makes the fabric both soft to the touch, versatile, and extremely strong and hardwearing.  Pictured above is a garment by the Swedish brand Tiger, and it shows a garment made from "the wave' fabric, which they decided to call 'the wave jacket'.  As you see the picture displays the jacket being crushed into a ball in the palm of someones hand, a dramatic image, which demonstrates amply the capability of this fabric.

Available now from Loro Piana, it can be made into any garment from their range, or any suiting or bespoke garment you can conceive.
