Vilebrequin expands its range of signature beach and swimwear with a capsule clothing collection.

Starting in 1971 in Saint-Tropez, Vilebrequin have become the go to brand for casual elegance with a hint of playful colour in swimwear, specifically trunks.  inspired by surfers trunks they are made from spinnaker canvas, they dry more quickly in the sun, and are named after the French word for 'crankshaft', a reference to the designers love of automobiles.

In 1995 they expanded their range with a matching kids line, and for 2005 further grew with a selection of beach and pool wear, including relaxed linen shirts, trousers and shorts, beach towels and beach bags. now for 2011, celebrating 40 years of continuous growth and popularity, they have grown a little more, by releasing a capsule collection of clothing.

The range pictured below is a ready to wear range with a strong influence of travel, designed to go easily in the suitcase, and made from high quality natural fabrics.  They will have a denom range, sports range, safari jackets, and rubber sunglasses, al made from recycled materials.

Available now from Vilebrequins stores, visit their website at www.viebrequin.com to find out more.
