Burberry Trend for Winter 2011, short Pea Coat's in Wool, Casmere and Cotton.

This Winter Burberry's Prorsum collection has thrown out it's typically diverse collection of strange pieces, and we have seen the usual selection of Trenchcoat's at Burberry London, the Military theme which dominated last Winter has seen some continuation this season, and with the exception of some very nice loose knitted Duffel Coat's and Burberry Brit, nothing much can be deemed new.

That is to say with the exception of a new trend for this winter across both Burberry London and Burberry Brit, a selection of some 5 different styles of Short Pea Coat, ranging from just on the hips, to waist length, and in Cotton, Wool and Wool Cashmere mix.

These styles make a most elegant statement, they have a defining characteristic which makes them feel both young, and established, if we were to think what they bring to mind, its Raskalnikov from Crime and Punishment, we can imagine the Proud impoverished Russian Students trapesing through the Bitter winter, with their heads held high and jacket double buttoned.
