Drambuie release new bottling that surpasses the Royal Legacy, the new Jacobite.

Previously Drambuie's selection has included their standard bottling, available in most supermarkets, a 15 year old, slightly more difficult to obtain, and their Royal Legacy, strictly limited, and made using 25 Year old Speyside whiskies, the prices for these respectively are £20, £50 and £150.

Drambuie have now blown away all their previous releases, with this new bottling, the Jacobite, crafted from 45 year old rare Speyside Malts, combined with Drambuie's secret recipe, presented in a hand blown crystal decanter, which is a replica of the famous spottiswode 'Amen" glass, by Glencairn Crystal.  Additionally in keeping with the Jacobite theme, a 32 page leather booklet, by highly respected whisky writer Ian Buxton tells the story of the Jacobite rebellion, the Jacobite Glass collection, and the details of the entire selection.

This release, limited to 150 bottles and priced at £3500 per bottling, places Drambuie firmly in the category of Ultra Premium spirits, and is in-keeping with their brand strategy, to increase the quality of both its products, and its consumers.  It is available at present only from selected travel retailers.
