Zara Simon Jewellery, young, modern, hip and reasonably priced.

Don't be put off by the name, this has absolutely nothing to do with high street budget brand Zara, in fact, it couldnt be further away from them if it tried.  Zara Simon is the self named brand of this young jewellery designer, who since graduating Central Saint Martins in 2005 has gone from strength to strength.  Following an Internship with Steven Webster, she began her own brand, to critical and commercial acclaim.

There is simply not enough space here to list all the plaudits from the design industry that this new brand has received, briefly, Tatler, Vogue, Harpers and Queen, Vogue Brasil, Elle, to name but a few.  To sum up one comment encapsulates all the success and praise she has received perfectly, when Vogue 2007 said "the Appeal is Immediately Apparent".

The most remarkable thing about these products, the ranges of which have included inspired Alphabet collections, Gem Rich Sleeping beauty collections, and the permanent collections inspired by primitive gothic jewellery, is the incredibly reasonable prices, all of the pieces pictured below utilise semi precious stones such as Laborodite, moonstone and amethysts, and all cost between £200 and £500 per item.
