Swiss family company Akris has some 8 years of History to back up it's wel respected and prestigious brand name, with humble beginning in the rag trade, making only aprons from a single sewing machine, the company grew steadily after the second world war into a renowned couture house.
The Ai Bag is the quintessential Akris bag, its structure made from a classic tote with design details to allow it to appear, when strapped up, like the letter A, the first letter of the Akris brand, and not only that, the buckle can open and the bag unfold into a practical zipped top tote.
Available in a wide selection of leathers and materials, as shown here, the defining factor of the Ai bag is that elegant A line.
Materials shown here include quilted leather, Horsehair in various colours and plain calf or italian grain leather.
Additionally, the bag is available in 3 sizes, Large, Medium and small, and there is a matching purse in the same Ai style, the image below shows the medium size.
The bag is also available in exotic leathers, such as Ostrich and crocodile, ostrich is shown below.
Prices start from £1200 for calf leathers, and raises to £4000 for exotic leathers such as the Ostrich.
