Bulgari Hotel set to open in Knightsbridge London by April.

It has been announced by LVMH, parent company of Bulgari since last year, that they will be opening a Bulgari Branded Hotel in Knightsbridge London, by April, in time for the 2012 Olympics. This will be the second Bulgari Hotel in Europe, and the First in the United Kingdom, and the first new build Luxury Hotel in London for 40 years.

The Hotel will be located on Knightsbridge itself, just along the road from the One Hyde Park development which caused so much publicity as the most expensive apartments in the world back in 2010, the construction in this area has been ongoing for sometime, and has caused must consternation on  what the eventual build will be, but, this announcement confirms many peoples suspicions, that it would be a Hotel rather than apartments.

The Hotel will offer 85 rooms and suites, and some 7 Bulgari suites, ach measuring 200 square foot, the dominant colour scheme will be silver throughout the hotel, suites and rooms, and guests will be able to take advantage of the Hotel's additional facilities, such as a 2,000 square meter spa and finess centre, swimming pool, private cinema, and no doubt future destination spot, a ballroom/nightclub.

In addition to the opportunity to stay as a guest in the hotel, the Bulgari Hotel building will also have for sale residences, for sale through Christies, very little information is available as yet, however there will be an apparent 9,260 foot of living space on the 7th floor penthouse, suggesting it will take up one entire floor of the building.
