Chanel release "Jersey" fragrance on their les exclusifs label.


Chanel have announced they will be expanding their Les Exclusifs range to the power of one this year, with possible edition in time for Christmas 2012.  The fragrance of the moment is entitled "jersey", and so named after Coco Chanel's signature fabric, and one which it has been alluded to she was introducd to by her Lover the Englishman Arthur "boy" Capel.

The fragrance has been designed by the so called "nose" Jacques Polge, responsible for Chanel's greatest triumph since No.5, the Allure Men's Range, and is a Unisex fragrance, a fact hinted at by the unisex nature of the fabric it is named after.  It features Herbal Lavender, Vanilla, White musk and Patchouli, crating a fresh scent that can be a summer breeze or an intoxicating winters evening scent.

It will be launched in 75ml only, a common habit nowadays of perfume launches, they tend to be released in either 35ml, 50ml or 75ml, and it costs £100 per bottle, as all other perfumes in the les exclusifs collection, if utilises the iconic white packaging with black mourning stripe edging, in order to firmly put it psychologically alongside the likes of No.5.
